I recently finished my BS in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, in Chicago. Next year, I am starting my PhD in Chemical Engineering at MIT. I am very interested in synthetic biology, or engineering bacteria so they make useful things. This combines many basic sciences (chemistry, biology, physics) with computer science and math.
Experience
I have tutored extensively at all levels of math and science. This includes high school, AP courses, and college level chemistry, biology, physics, math, and engineering courses. I excelled at these courses, and enjoy explaining difficult concepts in new ways. I hope to be a college professor, and tutoring is the perfect way to continue teaching along the way. I did well on the GRE. At Northwestern, I had the opportunity to teach a course, and enjoy helping others learn independently.
